after living with drugs...I found and use K extensively.
K doesnt affect the serotonine system. U feel ok days after,
So far no hang over. At all.
No risk for addiction.
I can do it over and over again, several days in a row. And still go to work every morning. And I dont need it...No craving.
It sounds too good to be true.
There are some side effects, but which? What are your experiences??

Cooking mind kandy - strength?

Afternoon all...

I know there are many ways in which people prefer to cook K and personally for me I enjoy the plate on top of a pan of boiling water.

What I want to know, from all you scientific minds, is which way is best to cook K for strength? I.e. is there a way to cook K to make it stronger? Make it weaker? Does it matter at all? Does it depend on which K you have?

What are peoples view's on cooking at all and is it best to just leave it out to dry? I have never done this as I simply am a greedy so and so.

Advice on finding k

I used to have a friend who could get it and now he can't. Any ideas for where to find a source? I'm not really that street-wise. Someone suggested the gay scene might be a good place since they use it as a party drug but - while I don't mind going into gay clubs - I would feel dumb just hanging round trying to work out who was selling. I'm not a clubber really, it's not my world. Any tips?

Any actually tried K in a float tank?

Having read lots of John C. Lilly's experiences with K in the float (isolation) tank, been curious how many others have tried this. I have floated (sans any psychoactives) 3-4 times before, and I would be concerned about the potential for drowning if one were to K-hole and black out, and turn sideways in the tank, etc.

Any thoughts, or better yet experiences?

Hydrating K

I went to my dealer as usual the other night to pick up.. but he tries to tell me he didnt have any on him at the moment, but then suddenly realised he had some, but it wasnt 'cooked up'. meaning it wasnt washed up. saying we needed to use the boiling method, mixing the K with a teaspoon of water (2g of crystals) and boil it off. but i thought what the fuck.. this is just making it weaker? or prehaps not weaker but it seemed abit pointless as u boil off the water anyway.. is it supposed to yield more or what?

VANCOUVER - A Campbell River man has received $63,000 in damages for an "out-of-body experience" in which he said he saw God after being accidentally overdosed with the painkiller Ketamine while recovering from back surgery in Vancouver General Hospital.

B.C. Supreme Court Justice Frank Cole made the award to former social worker Bradley Weafer, 38, but rejected Weafer's claim that he had suffered significant brain damage as a result of the overdose, which occurred Aug. 11, 2001.

Cole found that Weafer suffered psychological trauma from the overdose, in which he received the entire contents of a 500-milligram bag of Ketamine -- being administered intravenously -- over a five-minute period. He was supposed to have received three millilitres an hour for

The overdose caused him to lose consciousness and he needed to be resuscitated. He later told his parents he'd had a terrifying out-of-body experience, which medical evidence indicated was one of the side-effects of a Ketamine overdose.

He initially claimed to have suffered a heart attack as a result of the overdose, but this claim wasn't pursued at trial.

Cole found that Weafer had experienced poor health before the Ketamine incident.

The judge rejected claims that chest pains Weafer says he suffered were from CPR being performed on him and that the pain "insofar as it exists" was not caused by the incident.

Witnesses said Weafer was talking like a child when they visited him in hospital and he said he has experienced speech problems since the overdose. However, Cole dismissed that claim and said if Weafer has any speech problems, "they do not appear to impair his life."

Weafer told the court that before the overdose, he remembered being hooked up to medication and falling asleep.

"He said his life changed," Cole wrote in his reasons for judgment.

"He said: 'I was sucked down into black tunnels where I've never been before. People pulling me around by my feet, all black, was hot, scary, saw life flash in front of me. I saw my mother, felt being born and placed in my mother's arms, life review of all the good and bad . . . then I shot up through the sky surrounded like a shower of white light, went straight through the clouds and saw this figure to the right and he had a white cap on, look at his face and he wouldn't let me see his face. It was a bright white light. He was an office-tower high, larger than any building I'd ever seen.'"

Weafer then described seeing a gathering of people waiting for him on the other side of a trellis -- further journeys down into blackness and back into light --until he woke up and found doctors asking him questions.

He told them, "I just saw God and was fighting for my life."

In dismissing Weafer's claims of brain damage, Cole nevertheless said the man "suffered a great degree of stress and anxiety due to the Ketamine incident. The near-death experience was terrifying."

He awarded Weafer $55,000 in damages, $5,000 for the expenses of his parents looking after him and $3,000 in special damages.

Brown ketamine

I am a semi-regular k user and I always get k from the same guy and it's always a bright white powder. He gets it as liquid and heats it/reduces it down. I can't really say how good the quality is as I have nothing to compare it with but he seems honest and I've always had a very good experience with what he's sold me.

Thing is, today he sold me some that's light brown in colour and I'm a bit paranoid about taking it. He says it's fine and that k is often "off-white" but I suspect he burnt it a bit when reducing it down and I'm wondering if that's a problem. Is it safe? Will it affect the trip?

Ketamine and sex?

I had my first K-hole experience a few days ago. I've studied massage therapy and have recently started taking more classes. At one point in the evening, I started massaging some one (a girl, also K-holing), and it seemed like I could sense how what I was doing to her felt through the group-mind sense. I started thinking that K could be a great tool for allowing massage therapists to improve their sense of touch. Normally, you cannot massage yourself to improve your touch because having sensations both on the giving and receiving surfaces screws up your ability to evaluate how the massage feels on the receiving surface. And having to "give" the massage causes tension that will affect whatever part you are trying to massage. But in the K-hole, I felt like I had this other body I could massage and get a glimmer of real-time telepathic feedback (so to speak) on how it felt and adjust my strokes accordingly. After a while of that, my hands got minds of their own and started doing a very light and whispery dance on her that was sort of like playing her body like a musical instrument. Not sexually, but not entirely innocently. more playfully. Nothing more happened beween us, but this experience of male-female touch on K (which I quite enjoyed in a way that was not entirely unsexual) made me wonder about sex and ketamine.

I mean, if the feedback thing was working like when I was giving a massage, I'd expect to be way more in tune to wwhat the other person was feeling and vice versa in a way that we could build on each other and take it to an amazing place. And K bring about such absurd and odd yet strangely beautiful inclinations (such as the way I "played" with that girl's body) makes me think that some excitingly original sensations, positions, situations could be created.

On the other hand, their seemed to be a "so what" sense about getting off. Like, even if I knew I could have mindblowing sex, I might just think, "so what" like it's just another expderience that will pass, not intrinsically better than any other experience I might have (like chatting with people or watching cool light effects). And I'd imagine sex could sometimes feel like an alien and mechanical process at times, in ways that might ultimately be disturbing.

Hell, I don't know. Does anyone have experiences with this they'd be willing to share?

I am curious as to how other people communicate when in the ketaverse. I've found that words take on a whole new playful meaning and start to become living creation, constantly changing form. Word play is one of my favourite aspects and has completely changed my verbal life. My friends and I have formed new languages that are understandable, give us one session and it will be recreated. Another interesting aspect is the time lapse and ESP communication. When ketaminding with a linked partner has anyone communicated without talking? There are times when I experienced thinking about something for a while and am trying to gather my thoughts in order to communicate it into the exterior world, and before I actually say it my other says "ok" or "yes" and continues the action of exactly what I was thinking. This has always astounded me and wish there was more research into ESP linked with Ketamine.

One of my favourite word creations (it's hard to choose) it Ketameme. The interesting thing is keta-keta is the Japanese version of Ha Ha, and this word was bread from that. combining keta-keta and Meme we get Ketameme - The sound of spreading laughter.

What are your favourite creations if you have some?

One other interesting synchronicity, For a long time whenever I bumped into someone who had just tried Keta for their first time they would always say It's Weird! In the exact same high pitched elongated voice.

greetings all,
my name is 'the dr.' (aka S-O-S but i'll save my politics for another tribe), former researcher of ketamine and ketasoul searcher. I just rode into this tribe on the karma wave of some persons energy here that totally drew me in (in a non-sexual manner of course).... I just wished I lived closer to the west coast so I could meet some of you good folks.

But thats not why I am here. I hope to get some good solid dialogue going on about the ketamine experience and to maybe hopefully share some of my experiences and trade some stories.

I've also got a database of some of the legitimate medicinal uses for ketamine that are occuring in the medical community and i hope to share some of that stuff if anyones interested.

I'm one of the original keta-cowboys, and I dont know if this is kosher to say here or not but, theres only one ketaset and its made by fort dodge, that mexican shite makes me dizzy.

This may seem to be a little too insane for some but has anyone Projected themselves, floated above their body watching the room, sunk into someone else and watched through their eyes?

I’ve floated above a Chinese business dinner party, watched through a childs eyes going through a air port, projected across the room, merged with another’s body and shared the mind. There are many other situations, so much to recall. Sometimes the universe boundaries slip away and I clumsily find loop holes. It’s hard to do, but is incredible.

Word from a friend in mexico city is that ketamine is now more strictly controlled in mexico.

They are asking for a vets license in order to purchase it. I believe that the boxes always said that on them but that it was never enforced.

Snort vs. IM vs. IV

Howdy.
There was a bit of talk about 'snorting being a waste' a while back.
While I agree with this if you are using K for introspective, spiritual, OBE, magic, etc., but there is a huge majority of K users that use it primarily as a social drug.
I don't imagine pulling out a syringe at a party would be popular 99.99999% of the time.

IV seems to be a bit too much, too fast. Some pretty intense experiences, but none that I really remember. I've seen people come to naked on the diningroom table. Kinda like a heavy DMT trip with a bit more mobility.

IM is my baby. THe only problem I've found is when hi-dosing for long periods of time, say 1-2kg/day for 4 weeks. I get bad bruising , what feels like muscle tissue scarring, ouchies, all over my body. This is primarily from having to move hit spots all over, pushing 300-400mg in an area.
One solution I've found to reduce the impact of hi dose IM'ing is to either mix 1kg of powder, either precooked, or acquired as powder(as in having never been an HCL) with about 2ml warm saline. Dissolve as much as possible, if there are any granules left you can either A) heat until it's all melted, or B) use a piece of cotton (heroine style baby!) to filter out the remaining granules. Let the solution cool the inject it into the HCL bottle.

Tolerance?

My "friend" has been in the habit of going out to dance 2 or 3 times per week, and insufflating 3 or 4 bumps of K each time, as an adjunct for the dancing experience.

Lately, she has noticed that it's having almost no effect anymore, and increasing the dosage doesn't seem to be helping, either.

On the Cosmic level, it's as if the drug has stopped "talking" to her -- not in any mean way, not with any strange symptoms or uncomfortable withdrawals -- just ... something that was a favorite experience for her, part of a combined spiritual and exercise practice, is now pretty much a wash.

Has anyone here developed a tolerance, laid off for awhile, and then recaptured the feeling, or has my friend rewired her brains so that K is now a closed door for her, forever?

K in mexico updates

I have started a thread to keep you all posted on this process.

So multiple stores didnt knwo what it was and no they were not lying.

We were given the card of a vet to phone by one store to see if he could help us. I gave a list of all the names i could find to a friend who is mexican and he called today. The vet said they stopped carrying it sometime ago and referred us to a larger vet store.

My overall impressions are that pharmacies are useless - u must look in stricktly vetrinary places.

Their scores did not differ significantly from normal (non-seized) controls. Although the ketamine treatment did not significantly change the amount of neuronal loss within about 100 Paxinos and Watson structures, it was neuroprotective for several structures within the thalamus and portions of the temporal and parietal cortices. Ketamine-treated rats, however, displayed markedly more damage within the entorhinal cortices and amygdalohippocampal area.

ive been in the veterinary field for a couple of years now and about 4 months ago i kyped a 10ml bottle of ketamine 100mg/ml for a friend and i to dink around with.

after some research for human use, i injected 2.5ml (250mg) IM, which was WAY too much for a first timer and lemme tell ya... i haven't done it since, lol. even though i had known not to eat anything hours beforehand, i had forgotten (long day) and ate a piece of pizza right before the injection so needless to say after a couple of hours of hallucinations/complete vision distortion, noise distortion and no body control, i puked my guts out. i had a hangover for 2 days. my good friend ended up not doing it, so while i was flailing on the floor moaning, he played Mario Bros. and lemme tell ya, THAT DAMN music theme will forever have a new meaning.

at least he cleaned up my puke...

Favorite Brand

What are your opinions of the different brands of ketamine that are out there.
I'm partial to Ft. Dodge yellow label myself (100mg/ml), but I've tried Mexican Ketamina (50mg/100ml), Ft. Dodge purple label (50mg/100ml), Hong Kong and india stuff as well as pure powder (non hcl) from chemical vendors.

Some folks actually don't notice a difference in the potency, and my experience has been that it's best to dissolve and recook the pure stuff with a little sodium.

I am still partial to the double boil method. Although the blow drier method always produces huge yields, I seldom have the patience for it. I can think of these methods off the top of my head.
1. Double boil
2. Teflon frying pan
3. baking
4. blow drier
5. Microwave (BLEH!)
6. Air dry

Seems to me that double boiling leaves you with the best flavor (as if it tastes good at all). Frying pan is way harsh and has crap yields.
Did I forget a method?
